Key switch '46 panel

Post by 6597 »

Was looking at a little extra security on my bird, thought about changing out the Master toggle switch to some sort of key switch.
Here's what I have...

Here's what I'm looking for (not this cheap Amazon chinese special, a real milspec one). Any ideas? Searches turn up nothing so far.

I do put a throttle lock on the bird when I'm parked away on the hamburger flights or when I'm not immediately around it. I know it's not a cure all but it's a simple thing to do if I can find the right key switch. Don't want to go through the effort of the mag/master switch, it'll make a bigger hole....

Get a cobra motorcycle lock and wrap it around the prop.

Locking the master will only prevent them from using the radio. Flip on the mags and hand prop it.
