Paint touch up on wings

Hello folks,
I’ve recently bought my first 120, it’d sat in a hanger unused for about 15 years. The pre buy inspection looked good and the airplane is structurally and mechanically sound and I’ve enjoyed flying it for the past few months. Looking through the logbooks, I’ve found that the last time the wings were recovered was in 86, and I’m planning to have them recovered in the next few years, but in the meantime there’s some spots that look a little shoddy on the paint, such as around the fuel caps where spillage over the years has worn some of the paint off, and staining around the fuel sumps. The wings are ceconite covered with the Randolph system, and the top layer is white Randolph butyrate. I picked up a can of the matching color from Spruce, I would appreciate any experience or insight on touching up these areas!
