Replacing 120 door window

I understand I will need to remove and replace the rivets in the window frame as described in another thread.
I am looking for information on the very small seal that is between the plexiglass and the frame. Looks like without this seal, the window is lose even after the rivets are back in place.

mine is just a std u channel. Whether this is “correct” I don’t know.

One other piece of advice. Cut the window as large as you can. Mine is not filling the full space and in flight it bows and starts to pop out at an edge. It gets jammed there but is out of the gasket and jammed on the frame. I managed to get it back a couple of times but it keeps happening. If it was 1/16 wider I think it would work fine, so plan is to make a new one slightly bigger.

check the classic automotive market, its similar to the gaskets or seals in most of the older wing windows in the doors.
