Have a 3/4 “ crack in flap on cessna 140. Top of flap upper right corner and stops at a rivet. What is proper fix for this? Thanks.

On the left flap, upper right hand corner. From inside edge to a rivet. About 3/4” long.

Can a doubler and rivets be used on small crack on cessna 140 flap?

Need your photo - how long has it been there? Possibly sounds like stop drill and watch.

I’ve tried resizing my photo multiple times and I’m still getting an error saying the image is too large. Any tips?

Size limit is about 450kB. You can try cropping the picture first, but leave enough "context" so we can tell where on the flap the picture is.

I'm sending you a PM.

That's where the fitting for the torque tube attaches. Are you sure there isn't more damage underneath? I forget exactly how it all fits together, but there must be a spar in there, and a rib, too.

Looks like possibly someone has been there before even added another rivet. Check the same location on the other flap- probably "mirror image" configuration fabrication - post that photo if convenient.
As John C says and I vaguely remember, just extended the flap and look/picture.

Even looks like someone put a narrow coat of the famous JB Weld!
