The Cessna 120-140 Association Forum

Hey all,

Any recommendations on who might be able to perform an annual on my 120? It’s due in September.

I’m west of Charlotte, NC so anyone in the NC/SC/VA/TN area could work. I’d prefer it be someone who would allow an owner assisted annual so I can learn more about my plane.

And keyword is recommendation. I’ve got the list of mechanics, just looking for the right person.

Sam Scott up at Elkin (KZEF) is really good. Nice guy and very easy to work with. My A&P/IA is retiring next year, so I'm most likely going to transition to him. Sam has helped us out a couple times providing a 2nd opinion where needed. He has experience with 120s and 140s and is something of a serial airplane builder. No clue on what availability is, but you should give him a call. 336-469-9334
