140 Turtle/hat deck construction
I'd like to add a hat shelf/turtle deck to the baggage area of my 140. In the parts catalog it refers to shelf assembly #0411773. of course nobody actually carries that. Does anybody have guidelines for fabricating something that works, and most important, how it would attach? The rear of my baggage area is just a soft vinyl fabric with snaps, allowing easy access to the battery box and tail cone. I'm not sure how one would go about fabricating something that works. Has anybody done that could offer some direction?

I think Wag Aero used to sell it. Maybe you could get Spruce to make you one, or dig one out of the stuff they bought?
Also, Univair makes a lot of parts for these planes. If they don't list it, you might want to ask.
Wait, Preferred Airparts claims to have 6 available. (Could be they ended up with Wag's inventory.)

John, thank you. I was not familiar with Preferred Air Parts. I contacted them. I appreciate the lead.6643 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 9:10 am Wait, Preferred Airparts claims to have 6 available. (Could be they ended up with Wag's inventory.)
