I am having my Mitchell tach rebuilt by Mitchell. They recommend a right lay, captivated tach cable for the D1-1112-5023 tach. My old cable was 29" and was a stretch. I have seen advertised 32" and 34" for C140's and saw it mentioned some using a 36" cable.
My question is what is the optimum length of the tach cable for a Cessna 140 with the tach in the far right panel position?
Mitchell tachometer cable length?
