I have attached to the skin around the wing sump a circle of material that looks like it was originally put on with adhesive.
I am planning on replacing the valve and want to be prepared to replace this material as well if it comes off. ( which I think will as it is already peeling off a little )
Is this a regular part or some fabricated piece for support or something.

It looks fabricated to me !

I'll look tomorrow at the wing parts that I have on hand
and let you know what I fine!

From what I have found, there is just a hole in the bottom wing skin
where the fuel tank drain is located / And there is no other material
involved!
