Eisemann ground terminal advice

Failed mag check at ground run after my annual and confirmed it is a short in the wiring harness leading back to my toggle switches. (Runs great with the P-lead ground terminal disconnected so no issue at the magneto). Wiring has a variety of damage so time to replace.

These are Eisemann LA-4s and I plan to use shielded 14 gauge Mil-27500 wire. Seems my options are:

1) De-solder these Eisemann ground terminals and reuse them (is this even compatible with MIL-C-27500?). Requires soldering at "B" in the attached diagram from the Eisemann manual.

or

2) Use P/N 10-52306 ground terminals (https://www.fresnoairpartsco.com/produc ... minal-kit/). Can anyone confirm if this terminal is compatible with the Eisemann LA-4?

I think I prefer number 2 unless there are advantages or compatibility issues I am not considering. The 10-52306 seems a more modern approach.

Have you asked Fresno? That's where I would start. (It's a Bendix part number, so I'd say chances are good it will not work.)

Thanks John, I can do when they open Monday. I had already missed them on Friday.

Bogert Aviation lists that Bendix terminal as being common to most mfg including Eisemann so it seems a decent chance it will work.

Used this braiding and a 16AWG cable with my Eisemanns with no problems.

Uk supplier, but pretty sure this will be available state side. :D

For future reference, a few findings:

P/N 10-52306 (AN3105) does not work for the Eisemann LA-4 as John had surmised. For the LA-4 the insulator and spring are far too long. The nut, however is the same thread if that helps anyone.

The ground terminal assembly in the Eisemann catalogue is P/N H27-525, but it might as well be unobtainium.

I desoldered my old ground terminals and used MIL-C-27500 14 AWG. I just followed the Eisemann manual, pretty easy.
