Wanting to replace the rubber fairing pieces at the wing root. I have seen a previous post on attaching and maybe using Spruce for the pieces. None of the pieces on Spruce look like what I have. Has anyone done this recently , and if so what product or rubber part did you use to replace. This is what mine looks like now.
Thanks.

My wing root fairings only have felt on the inside leading edge to protect the glass. There is no rubber or material visible on the outside.

After closer look at the parts manual it looks like forward cuff does use felt. I was looking for rubber since that is on there now. Anyone know what thickness I might consider. The part number for forward felt is not coming up with anything that I see. Spruce has self adhesive felt 1/16 inch that might work. Interesting why this rubber was added who knows how long ago.
