Does anyone have a drawing for the lower door post replacement plate? The one that is used to fix the cracked lower door post.
Thanks.

I made
this in onshape, but I'm not sure if it matches the SK150-53 plate.

Contact David Lowe, he made up an STC with Cessna's blessing for that.

I have the Cessna drawing 0409012. It was given to me by another form member 19 years ago. I don't remember his name but he was a frequent poster.
My left frame had the typical crack but since the airplane was apart I did both sides. The job requires a using a pretty heavy rivet gun as some rivets are double flush.
I would appreciate it if you would pass them along to the club library when finished.
Message me where you would like them sent.
Joe

If anyone is interested, I could make a model of this plate and then it can be made in various ways, including by sending to Send-Cut-Send which can provide 2024-T3 material in various thicknesses.
However, I don't fully understand this print - is it multi-layered? Normally would not expect to see the two horizontal dark lines. Perhaps they are bend lines?

I have a door post and gear box bulkhead dissembled and will explain the diagram of the reinforcement part better!
I do know that there are No bends in the new Alum. part being replaced!
What is being done here is to remove a small existing alum. Part and install a longer alum. Part
that extends up the backside of the door post!
It's simple as it gets!
Actually, what the Diagram in the previous Post is showing is layers of the parts!
