Are Superior engine bushings junk?

In overhauling my engine (and replacing all the hardware- ouch$) I'm seeing that Spruce carries two different cone bushings for mounting the C-90-12F to the airplane. One is the original Continental part # TCM 22387 manufactured by TCM, and the other is a PMA part from Superior Air Parts, # SA22387.
In reading a few pilot forums and customer reviews, I see a LOT of people have seen cracks in the Superior Air Parts version after only a few months. Lots of folks saying they look 20 years old even though theyre nearly new. No complaints on the Continental part number. The difference between the two? Well the Continental is $28.95 EA And the Superior one is $5.60 EA. BIG difference! Both rubber; both look and feel the same.
Do any of you have experience with these? It's tough to fork out $240.00 when you could fork out $40 for the same thing. But are they the same thing? Was that a bad batch? Are the Superior ones actually junk? Are any of you using them?
