Wing removal question.

I have read the other posts for this job and getting ready for the last few steps. I am down to the strut and spar bolts.
One question that came up is the AN4 bolt on the flap torque tube and what happens internally with the springs and bell crank when tension is removed. At this point ,with help and proper force will the wing just slide outward and off ?
And what precautions if any for the tube and bell crank springs in the fuselage ?
Thanks.

The flap torque tube will get pulled back to the rearmost part of the cutout in the skin. Don't let it snap back.
If I recall correctly (last time was many years ago) you have enough side to side movement to work it out once both sides are unbolted.

Thanks for info. Sounds like even though I am only removing the right wing I need to remove the AN bolt from both the L and R flap rods that are sticking into the torque tube.

Just disconnect the springs from where they attach to the bulkhead so you don't have any tension on anything.

Thanks springs disconnected …easy peasy. Ready for bolt removal , replace with screw drivers then four guys hefting it out. Fingers crossed no glitches

Don't allow the wing strut to pivot down on the bolt at the gear box. There isn't enough clearance at the fuselage skin to allow it to reach the ground!
Don't forget to run strings through the wings to pull the control cables back in!
