I found some oil streaks on the front of my prop and found that the source was the plug in the front of the crankshaft. Has anyone else run into this problem? Do I need to have the plug replaced or can I just put some sealant around the edges?

O-200 with 130 SMOH

You can try to seal it, but it's not much more work to just replace it. For that matter, why not just give it another whack and see if that seals it up?

Gave it another whack, so far so good.
