Apparently any plugs manufactured between May 5, 2026 and July 29, 2026 have the potential for cracks developing at the base of the threads. The Service Bulletin outlines what to look for, what numbers and marks to look for, and what to do.
My hangar neighbor just installed some new REM37BY's in his 0-300 and now he has to take the cowl off (C-172) and check to see what he has, kind of a pain in the a**.....
