Scott 3-24B Tailwheel

Before the old forum went dark, I was trying to decide whether to spend the $$$ on rebuilding a Scott 3-24B (Scott 2000) tailwheel or purchase a new Lang to replace my existing Maule. The Scott 3-24B that I acquired had a lot of side to side movement at the tailwheel when in the locked position. I was trying to determine if it was the fork or arm assembly what was worn. I could not find any information on what a "good" arm assembly looked like. I decided to bite the bullet purchase a new arm assembly. I included a picture of the new arm assembly next to my old worn out one in case anyone else may go down this road in the future. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
Bottom line: I really like the Scott 3-24B. Steers great on the ground and more importantly, no more shimmy ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
