adjust elevator trim chain
After measuring the elevator trim travel, found it to be +13, -23. Certainly not near specs. Looks like changing the position of the aft chain on the sprocket will partially correct the situation. What is the best way to get slack in order do this, remove the double pulleys in the belly right before the trim wheel to get slack? Or is there a better way? If we can get slack in the aft chain, then we can turn the sprocket in the elevator.

You can take the bolt out holding the pushrod to the elevator horn and screw the pushrod in or out to change it's length. That might be all you need. Otherwise, you're re-rigging the whole system.

Great!!!! Thanks John. We tried to find a schematic in the parts manual but failed. Tricky little dickens, that trim system.
