My springs are a little flat which cause angle of the wheel tilted back. My question is what the best way to fix this issue? Re-arch springs, buy a new spring pack? Is there a different model spring that would be better, maybe off a 170? Let me know what you know.

There is a good discussion on tail springs in the Technical Session by Neal Wright. Earlier models had the "straight" set, while later models had what is called the "double bend" Spring sets are probably less than $200 so I would buy the right set for your SN and be done with it.

I'm new to the 140 and new to the sight. How would I fins the technical discussion you mentioned? Is there archived discussions somewhere that I'm not seeing?

I don't know where the Technical Articles went with this new forum site. In any case the straight springs are for SNs 8001 to 14026. After that the "double bend" spring set was installed. I will contact the administrator to see whether the articles will be installed later. Suggest you join the C120/140 Assn.

Yes I am a member, just joined about a month ago.

The technical articles were part of the old forum. When it became corrupted, access to everything was lost. Items from the old forum, if they can be recovered, will be restored as soon as possible.
