STC for 150 seats

Just thinking about putting an interior in the 120/140. I have been looking at Airtex. Wondering if it is worth it to put the 150 seats in or just leave the 120 seats. The plane has the 0235 engine which means there is a weight consideration. How do you obtain an STC and at what expense. What would be the weight difference? Thinking about just keeping the seats as is but since I am short, the person on the other side needs to fold their legs up. Any friendly advice? Thanks

My 150 Aerobat seats were installed on a 337. I will dig up the paperwork and post it.

It's not a perfect solution, but you can install the seat back on an angle, or you can get a cushion (or two) for your side.

David Lowe is working on an STC for C-150 seats, until then (STC's are lengthy processes) hopefully you can get by with a prior approved "Field Approval".
