Is there an STC to put a C150-150F cowl on a C140A with the O-200? I"ve been thru the STC's on Univair's site several times and have not seen one.
I've been thru all the posts here and didn't see anything on this. Sorry if I'm duplicating post!
Here's a nice example:

No problem posting here.
I don't know of any STC for the installation of a 150 type cowling on a 140A, but that doesn't mean that one hasn't been installed using a field approval. If memory serves me correctly there was a picture of an "A" model on the Association calendar some time ago that showed the aircraft fitted with the 150 type cowling.
Curious, are you missing or have a cowling in poor shape?

Thanks for the reply...I miss things when looking sometimes these days!
I have the cowl with the plane (C140A)...looks good on the outside but a lot of patches. I have a C150D that I will be parting out after I get the 140 going and was looking at them today and it sure looked like the 150 cowl would fit. So I did some Google Image searching and found one. I am using the O-200 from the 150D in the 140.
The Canadian plane in the address I posted looks real nice with the cowl.
