C-150 control columns

I have seen a few pictures of 120/140's with 150 rams horn style control columns. Is there and STC for that? Is one required?

I tried to post a picture but it was too large.
I will try to remember to check the logs. I have 337’s on numerous modifications, but I don’t specifically remember that one.
