Trim actuator

I was looking for some information on the trim actuator. The one on my plane has developed some play in the actuator. Finding a original one in good shape might be pretty hard. I was seeing if a actuator out of a Cessna 150 might be an easy swap. They look similar in the 120/140 parts catalog but different than the one in my 140. Thanks for any help.

In 35 years of owning a 140 that's one of the few items that I haven't had to deal with...yet  . There'll no doubt be a dependable answer here, but my initial guess is that the 150 part may be a fit (...sorry I can't be more "dependable" than that). The 140 #0310293-10 seems to be superseded by Cessna #1260074-1 and that appears to be called out for the Cessna 150 also. From Yingling's website catalogue:
SKU: 1260074-1
This part replaces:
0310293
0310293-10
0310293-11
0310293-13
0310293-14
0310293-2
0310293-1

That said, I'm "assuming" that they're interchangeable...but, again, I'm confident that there'll be a more dependable answer coming along here shortly.

I installed the #1260074-1 unit after my old actuator showed way too much play and I had some flutter. It was a drop in replacement. That said, the movement on the trim wheel was much more sensitive and it took less 'turn' to achieve the same response from the old unit.

^There's that dependable answer! Thanks, Dave!! And, FWIW, I did see this one on Ebay (Wow -- prices for actuators are all over the place, with most being in a HIGH place! ):

I thought at some point we had a thread with pictures of a member that had opened one and restored the over-spec pieces.
I may have those pictures on my computer at home. That will have to wait for another week before I can get them on this thread.
