Has anybody had to add brake pedals to the right side of their 140. That could share with me the easiest way to do this? The system in my plane Now does not have the connecting bar to join the two brake pedals I found a few bodies to each other. Enable to I do have new Rudder pedals with the bar. Can I insert the connecting bar in my existing Rudder pedal system or do I need to remove and put the whole different Rudder pedal system in the aircraft? What is the easiest way to do all this? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I have those already. Can I just add the inner bar or do I have to change it all. How hard is it to change if I have to do that?

I have brakes on the right side. My dad added them years ago when it was his plane. I'll take some pictures and ask him some questions.

You will probably have to replace the entire rudder bars. I have not closely viewed the single side set up, I suspect it's missing required pieces......

If you do have to replace both rudder bars..........

I hope you are very flexible and don't mind working in small cramped quarters. Other than that........it's a piece of cake.

The hardest part of this job is accessing and then re-installing the nuts below the rudder bar clamps. They are under the floor in a very small place(that also requires you to work face down under the instrument panel)

I did it once.........I hope I don't have to do it again.
