Post by 4914 »

I would like to install 150 mufflers on my 120 but I need the tail pipe brace assy p/n 450340-1. Are there any available that won't break the bank?

"Breaking the bank" seems to be an issue in finding these @ "reasonable" prices. There's one on Ebay that's been listed for many months...beginning price was $999.00, now "reduced" to $679.99 (OBO). Keeping an eye on Ebay means you might see one pop up there from time to time listed by someone who's more interested in seeing airplanes fly and helping fellow flyers than making every possible dollar on a sale. You might also check with salvage dealers (Dodson, Atlanta Air Salvage, Preferred Airparts, etc...). And, who knows, there just may be someone reading here right now who has one handy and may be ready to bless you with it! ;) Mac

Or have a friendly pilot that doesn't fly often and borrow his brace to get one fabricated. It is not that difficult of a piece to replicate.
