I have some bad deflection. Know either a good repair place or place to get replacement? 1949 140A model.

You might try "Mix Aircraft Solutions LLC" (...google, or @ mixasllc@yahoo.com). Tim Mix has done quite a bit of quality restoration/rebuilds of 120/140 parts and pieces & is a super helpful & nice guy. In fact, there's a good pic on one of his RH elevator rebuilds on his website. Mac

Re: Right side elevator
Near Kendallville Indiana is a very busy repair shop.
They used to be called Williams Airmotive but I think they go by Airframe Components now.
Try airframecomponant.com
They can repair yours or they may have one in stock to exchange.
Good luck,
Rick

Re: Right side elevator
Rick, I visited aircraft Components site. Good place to go for repairs.
"Try airframecomponant.com" .
I can't make this work, but this does: airframecomponents.com .

Re: Right side elevator
Drill out the rivets on the trailing edge and stick something in there and fix it. Very cost effective, and free shipping....
