N89654 flies again!

Post by 6843 »

I'm tickled to announce after nearly 5 years of work, N89654 flew again last Sunday. Flight went great and I'm looking forward to spending more time with her.

Great news and great job completing the project!

Beware!! After completing a rebuild, there's always another project lurking in your future!

Thanks everyone. It was a long slog that took way too long. Had a leaking fuel tank in a metalized wing. Lots of rivets, and waiting for and buying 3 e-bay tanks to find one that didn't leak worse than what I took out.

Congratulations Dave! You've got more persistence and skill than I do. Glad to see another of our airplanes back in the air.
