rudder bar shield templates

I am looking for a template for the shields between the pedals on my c 120. years ago (maybe 20 or so) the 120/140 Magazine had a print in the pages for the covers I am looking for 0411599 shield rudder bar left - 0411836 shield rudder bar right figure 39-31 and 32. If anyone knows where I can find these templates, it will help. Thank You.

I just finished (well almost) the restoration of my ‘47 C-140 and made new ones but kept the old ones for patterns. I made new ones because the originals had such large openings around the rudder posts that nuts, screws, etc fell through and there is no way to retrieve them short of removing the plate. You are welcome to the originals if you want them, as patterns or for use. If you have a pattern they are really easy to make new ones. If you want them let me know where to send them, no cost!

Too bad we don’t have a full archive of the magazine available. I just removed, stripped and cleaned mine and think my best bet is to have a new set made. Definitely a job way above my skill set.

I can tell you that schematic is not in any of the Members newsletters on this website (main page resources), nor is it in any of the newsletters from 1979 thru 1982. I do remember seeing it. There are a few gaps in the Members newsletters that apparently are slowly getting filled.
