Tachometer
Need a tachometer for my Cessna 140 with C-85. The RPM part works, but the hour recording has slowed down. I had the unit repaired a couple of years ago and it is failing again. I tried the Mitchell tachs, but I couldn't get the prescribed part # to go above 2400? Cell 734 645-3187.

When mine had issues I replaced it with the EI digital tach - they’ll set the timer to the correct tach hours you supply when ordered. Works great - only downside is you lose the “original” look, but mine lost hat a along time ago.

Re: Tachometer
Do you mean you couldn't obtain the correct tach, or the correct tach wouldn't read higher than 2400 RPM? If the latter, I'd suspect the problem is not the tach...
