Just purchased 1946 140

Post by frog »

All,
I have been reading up a ton about the 140 on this forum and it has been very educational. I just purchased, or I should say my wife just purchased, me a 140 for Christmas. It has an 0-200 in it with 200 hours on the engine. I am sure I will have many questions as I start getting to know the airplane more.
Thanks for the great forum.

Welcome, And please have your wife contact my wife for next years Christmas presents. Glad you made the 140 as your choice for your GA aircraft. What state or airport are you based at? Maybe plan 2023 Convention to meet some of us?

I am located out of Glendale, west side of Phoenix. My wife went to school in Decorah so it is a possibility depending on our schedules

Welcome! I'm in Glendale too, flying out of DVT and also have `46 with an O-200. If you have any question that I can help with please let me know. Hope to see you around! And I must add that your wife has excellent tastes in Christmas gift-giving :D

Yeah posting pictures on this site is a pain in the backside.
I finaly downloaded an app call Resize Master.
I resize the pictures to 750X500. Drag the picture you want to resize into the little blue box and presto chango you have a picture you can put on this website. Once you download the app you will see what I am talking about. I also rename the pictures after I downsize them to make it easier to know what picture you are working with.
Good luck,

Rick
