Glad you got it sorted.

Part of my preflight routine is to pull the prop through all 4 cylinders (2 revolutions) to check compression. If you normally prime, you can pull it through in the normal direction (watch for accidental starts!) with the throttle shut and it'll self prime, or you can also pull it through in reverse, It'll compress (or not) either way.
