Wing Recover

Looking for a shopping list to recover a pair of 120 wings.
Leaning toward using the poly fiber system. I swear I have seen a list before however it may have been on the old site. I can't seem to locate it anywhere. Maybe be a good addition to have around though. It shouldn't really matter the system for yardage, tapes etc. I checked with the local outfit in Fairbanks and they didn't have anything except the liquid quantities (and that seemed to be on the high side, price and qty.)

This is a link to Consolidated Coatings, they have a well written manual on the application of the PolyFiber System. In the manual on page 149 are details about the supplies and materials required to recover the wings of a Cessna 120/140 aircraft. Manual is free and is well worth looking at.

I used it and was very happy with the results. The big thing with me was that you do not have to deal with noxious fumes from volital chemicals.
Their website has a list of aircraft and what you will need to recover your airplane.

Try Spencer Aircraft in NW Washington, I bought this kit from them and it was very complete. They will take back all the unused liquids too!

I notice one difference in Spencer Aircraft Supply listing and what is listed in the Poly-Fiber manual. In the Poly-Fiber table at the end of the manual it calls for a 3-inch bias tape whereas Spencer calls for a 4-inch tape. Anyone who has recovered their wings recently with Poly-Fiber care to comment? I recovered mine many years back and plan to do it again in the near future, but I do not recall know what I used.

I recovered my 120 wings last winter using the products supplied by Spencer. The 4 " bias tape butts up or slightly overlaps the 4" leading edge tape, if you used 3" bias tape you would have a step in the butt joint.
