Did you contact McCauley Propeller to inquire about the current price for a 1B90/CM7148 propeller?
Reason for asking is that McCauley sometimes runs special discounted pricing for members of the International Cessna 120/140 Organization members. When the organization had its annual convention in 2021 at Peachtree City, GA, one of the highlights of the trip was a tour of the McCauley factory, and McCauley personnel mentioned to everyone that they were offering special discounted prices on propellers for members of the organization. Just a thought.
On another note you might try contacting South Coast Propeller in Bessemer, AL to see if they have the propeller you're looking for. Ask for Jimmy https://www.southcoastpropellerservice.com
The Hunt continues! I am also in the process of trying to get the CM7150 re-pitched and overhauled to a 7148. First shop rejected it for the tiniest little surface corrosion on the mating face of the hub which seems absolutely ridiculous. I had two other shops and an IA confirm the ridiculousness and it will be going out to another shop for overhaul. Fingers crossed. I am not opposed to having another used prop or even buying a new one as these are seemingly hard to find. New ones are unavailable as the foundry/office is moving??? I didn't realize McCauley and Sensenitch were related. I cant get a wood prop for the same reason... I want to fly!
I have a CM7146 that is ready to bolt, on serial 51827. i would like a reasonable price. It is off my 140 and been to Byan prop shop in Fort Worth. As I remember it is almost exactly 71" long and very near new.
