Drag wire nut replacement
I’ve searched the forum but didn’t find anything about drag/anti drag wire nut replacement. I’m reassembling my 1946 rag wing frames and I’m short 1 of the small anti drag wire nuts. I have the inner nut that fits into the spacer, but I’m missing the jam nut. I sure hope I don’t have to buy a whole new wire just because I don’t have one of those nuts with a goofy thread count. Any body have one laying around that I can buy?

Re: Drag wire nut replacement
The aviation section of McMaster Carr has those odd thread nuts.
If you have original wires, those thread sizes should be:6-40, 8-36, 12-28
