Does anyone here have experience with using Swift fuel?
My local airport is now selling 94 octane Swift fuel.
I went to the Swift fuel website and according to them I do not need an STC to use it since my C-85 was certified to use 80 octane fuel.
No difference in price but not having lead to foul the plugs would be a plus.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks,
Rick

Re: Swift fuel
Have used UL94 exclusively in my Cessna 140 w/C-90-12 since purchasing it in April. Have flown it about 70 hrs. No plug fouling and oil stays cleaner. I don’t have a mixture control, so I was concerned about plug fouling w/100LL. Also about $.25 less than 100LL too. Great stuff in my opinion.

Re: Swift fuel
I've been to numerous Swift Fuel presentations. Seems to be legit and they have been slowly expanding. No issues to date, and yes, lack of lead will make your engine cleaner. They are based out of NW Indiana if memory serves me correct and most of the availability is probably within a 200 mile circle of their base of operation. (at least as of 2 years ago, when I last saw their presentation)

Re: Swift fuel
Yes, Swift Fuels is located in West Lafayette, IN. I purchase mine primarily in La Porte, IN, but go to Marshall, MI as well. Wish it was closer, but I’m usually just boring holes in the sky anyway
