Side window replacement

Post by captainc120 »

I am preparing to replace both side windows on my 1946 C-120. The old windows look like there was some type of a "J channel" seal that went around the edges of the plexiglass to seal off to the frame. I have been unable to find anything in the parts manual. Any ideas from the group?

Thanks!

It's a "U" channel, 0412152-3. You can get a generic U-channel from Spruce, Univair, Wicks, etc.

I just did this. I cut my own windows and bought the channel from Spruce. It was a piece of cake and 1/3 the price.
