A Little Jaunt in the C120

Post by edidin »

A two-day cross country repositioning flight. First two legs were only possible due to anomalous tailwinds going SW. Usually 200-240 nm legs are the norm. First leg at -15 F aloft was a bit painful for the pilot; aircraft was humming along just fine.

Where did you end up? That looks pretty close to my old strip!

Oh, wait, "going SW" rather than "from the SW"... Where did you start?

(Guess: Cooperstown?)

Well, technically, yes, from Cooperstown, but that was the week before when aircraft was repositioned to Oneonta which was the start of this jaunt.
