C 150 EXHAUST TO REPLACE OLD SYSTEM

Post by 5469 »

Hello,

I am looking for a source to buy a new 150 / O200 style exhaust.
I am aware that the appropriate braces are different for the 140.
Is there a document showing the details for this replacement?

Thanks for any advice !
Kind regards
Horacio

Chief Aircraft had what I needed a few years ago when I had to replace my LH C-150 muffler. I had all the other bits like heater shroud and tailpipes, which Chief seems to have also. I am assuming you will perhaps contact Ken and Lorraine Morris who have the active STC for the 150 exhaust installation? Crossover brace pics below, attached to a stud on the oil tank and by straps on the exhaust down spouts.

Thanks so much, David.

Great information, I didn't know that Lorraine and Ken were the holders of that STC.

Of course I will be in touch with them !

Have a nice week end,
Horacio

Tks for the pics and details.

For what it's worth I've had good luck with the old wag aero stc'd exhaust kit.
It came with the tail pipes but not the brackets.
