Work In Progress Award at Convention

Post by 8061 »

Is your bird not yet Lindy worthy? We want to see it anyway. At this year’s International Cessna 120 – 140 Association Convention, we will be presenting the Work in Progress Award along with the usual awards for the best of the breed at the Convention. The award will include a $500.00 credit redeemable on any of the products advertised on our association website under Links / Member Products. So, bring your WIP along with your photos, videos, skinned knuckles, smashed fingers, and most importantly, your questions to 1H0. We encourage members to bring aircraft to the convention at 1H0 that may not be ready for show time, but are airworthy and headed in the right direction. If you have a “dirty bird” that has been in the dusty corner of the hangar for a few years, that might make it with duct tape, double safety wire, and a pencil-whipped annual, please leave it at home.
The rules … until we make up some more:
• The aircraft must be FAA registered to a member of the association, and that member must register for the convention
• The 120, 140, or 140A must be airworthy … see FAR 91.7 … and all the rest of them
• The aircraft must fly into the convention. Aircraft based at 1H0 must at least fire up and make a lap in the pattern.
• The winner will be determined by our panel of judges led by our Technical Advisor Victor Grahn … no whining, complaining, or calling your mother’s favorite A&P
