Post by 6597 »

Just for entertainment purposes and curiousity, I took my digital inclinometer and measured the actual click values on the flap handle (5 clicks).
5.1 degrees
12.6
21
29.1
37.5

Thanks for doing this. I was wondering and couldn't find it anywhere.

You're supposed to adjust the cable so that the fifth position is 40 degrees down from faired. Everything less is "what it is".

Looks like I have a project for Friday. I figured something like that with all the weird numbers. I will report back....

I suspect the ratchet teeth on the flap handle over the years get a little worn down, who knows what the actual values might be when things were 'new'. I've got the later style 'button' handle FWIW.
