Looking for more advice. This 140 has wheel extenders, should we remove them or leave them on

Ah, let the games begins!

I have straight early legs, when I removed my extenders all of a sudden the wheel shimmys stopped, the plane tracked straighter, I lost 5 pounds of metal. I adjusted my brake pedals a little more leaning forward as I heard if you were ham-footed on the brakes you'd put it on it's nose. Learned to fly it that way, been happy for 30 years so far....

Go back to the forum index. Above the first topic, in the box that says "Search this forum" type "wheel extenders" and see what you get...
