McMaster carr has a good selection of mounts, actually just ordered some today. I originally bought the lord mounts refrenced above from aircraft spruce but they were far too small. I think someone has drilled my panel mounting holes bigger at some point in the past. They are about 11mm in diameter, or around 1/2 inch.

Re: Instrument Panel Shock Mounts
Make up some angle brackets and put the top two mounts in compression instead of shear.
