I am in the process of installing the Whelen Orion 650s on my C140. My IA tells me that we will need to submit a 337 and since the STC does not include the C140 on the AML the local FISDO will not approve it without reference to an existing 337 from a prior installation on a 140 that already has a field approval.
Has anyone installed the Orion 650 on their 140 and has a copy of the approved 337 that I can use as a reference when we submit our paperwork?

STC #SA800EA has Cessna 120/140/140A listed on page 9 of the pdf. Is that the STC you were referring to?
