C140 aux fuel tank
Several years ago I saw a C140 with an aux tank mounted on the floor in the cargo area. Has anyone heard of a STC for this?

The information I have on that modification mentions an STC, but it looks like it was actually installed on a field approval. I can find no evidence of an STC. If you are really interested in doing it, contact me off line.

Re: C140 aux fuel tank
Thanks. I talked to Griggs aircraft service. They have a STC and manufacture a tank for the Cessna 150. I was told that it does not fit the straight tailed models, but no STC for the c140.

Does anyone have a picture of the tank? I would be interested in more information if available.
