The door windows Plexiglas is in poor shape on a 1946 140. How do I go about fixing that. Replace the whole window or take off the frame and replace the plexiglas?

The frame is removable, then you can replace just the plexiglass.

You have to drill out all the rivets around the edges.

John, I was looking at mine the other day and considering replacement as well and saw those rivets. From a tool perspective, how do you get new rivets in there? It just doesn't seem like there would be any room to work with a rivet gun and bucking bar. I'm sure there's a solution, I'm just ignorant to what that would be.

Thanks

Pretty easy to do with a 'Rivet Hand Squeezer'. Check Spruce for different models. Did my windows and it was not very difficult.

Ahh, thanks! I knew there had to be something out there for that.

I've seen adds for "Bubble" type windows. Seems to me that it might have a distortion problem. Any experience with those?
