Anybody ever fly a 120 to France and back?

I'm not sure..................somebody probably ........sometime........did it. If you pick up a copy of Dorchen Forman's book
THE CESSNA 120/140 STORY BOOK, there a few lengthy trips in there England to Australia comes to mind.


I know there have been many, many singles that have "flown the pond", but man.........the range on these birds isn't very long.

Never mind, I’d be crazy to try it in my 120.
Real risk even with a auxiliary fuel tank.
My motto is flying should be fun, not exciting.

You can fly to France without crossing the Atlantic.

You will need a passport and some Euros.

Hey, I'm just a dumb American. Montreal is pretty French... I mean, Montrealers look down on us English speakers!

I guess the difference is: If you fly to Montreal, you can say, "I flew to Canada." If you fly to St. Pierre,you can say," I flew my Cessna to France and back."
Much better sounding bragging rights!
