Post by VIP686 »

Does anyone know where I can get the small white Cessna 140 decal that is on the control yoke? 1947 model.

Unfortunately, the '47 and later 140s used different yokes.

I bought mine at Moody Aero-Graphics at Oshkosh one year. They're located in FL. The decals looked like the factory originals, like Cessna parts they weren't cheap!

I also have some decals from AeroGraphics in Loveland, Co. Very nice people to work with. I sent them a rough outline of the original cessna chevron on the 1947 nose bowl and they matched it perfectly and were quite reasonable.

I scanned the logo on the back cover of the operation manual and scaled it to match the original, then had a local vinyl cutter do the work. Looks original and is replaceable.
