In the STC it just lists the model of the prop, 1A100, 1A101....it doesn’t differentiate the hubs...so I’m going with that it can be used. Maybe I’m wrong......but it’s certified on the O-200A engine.

My STC, SA547EA, is for the McCauley 1A100 MCM or 1A101 DCM or Sensenich 69CK. They all fit on the prop hub. Since the props weigh 21 and 24 lbs. The weight shift would be quite a bit forward with an extension.

What made you decide to sell it? If the STC doesn't specify the model (1A101, etc. is the casting number, not the model) then you could use it with the adapter, as long as you don't run into another snag down the line.

Well I do have Randy’s STC. If you look at the actual STC (which I didn’t) it does specify 1a101 DCM I think. I have the PCM which requires the spacer, which I have. So I’ll chalk this up to a life lesson. It’ll be on eBay soon unless I can get a 337.

In the paperwork it just said 1A101 so I went with it. Have to read the fine print! My own failt

Did you ask McCauley about changing the model? The only original application for that prop is the Cessna 150L.

I called McCauley this morning with no luck. They can modify certain props with bushings but the PCM they can’t. As a last ditch effort I called my FSDO to look into a 337. I’m concerned though if the spacer May push the prop forward enough to put it out of the empty weight C.G. envelope. Some figuring to do over the weekend. Or put my first for sale item on eBay.

There is a possibility for permanent ballast to compensate for cg shift (if reasonable needed) and possible reposition battery location. 2c
