Does anyone know if you can buy new fuel caps for a 1948 c140
Need to replace my fuel caps on my 1948 Cessna 140. Mine have two vent holes in the top of each is this right???

These fit nicely. I haven’t drilled another hole yet, but. it will be easy. Part number is 05-01058 from Aircraft Spruce. Picture is too large..

You need to read this posting in Neal Wright Technical Articles:
Mis-using gas caps on 140s that are meant for 140/120 planes
It will explain venting on each type of airplane and what type of gas cap you should use for each.
