Hi all,
I am working with another RAF member to try and plan an overnight or weekend fly-in in CT on a grass strip. Tentatively it would be at N41 - Waterbury-Oxford (manager is on board with the idea, need to iron out details) and shooting for late spring early summer or so when the grass there is good and dry after the spring rains. Would be great to get a contingent of 120s & 140s there if possible.
We will be looking to do it as a campout event with some grilling for dinner & breakfast, and potentially some fly-out activities on the Saturday. Sound like something anyone in here would be interested in? I can then fill you in as we iron out details.
Thanks,
Spring/Summer Fly-In in CT

Great, I will post details on here once I have it more ironed out. Its a great little grass strip with a 2000' main runway and 1,600' crosswind runway.

Sounds good. I grew up in Waterbury and lived lived in Ct until a few years ago. Long ride from South Carolina but if the old girl is back together by then I’d love to come. ‘46 C-140
