Hi Everyone:
I'm Rob Mark, Senior Editor at Flying magazine. I'm a new member here although I'm no stranger to the 120/140. I spent a bunch of years instructing in a 120 years ago, so it's still high on my list of favorites.
We just started a new section in the magazine on affordable first airplanes and our columnist grabbed the 120/140 for the first story. It should be great from the way it reads.
That said, I'm in desperate need of a panel shot of a 120 or a 140. The closer to original, the better. It just needs to be high-resolution, which means it should be no smaller than about 5 x 7 if it were printed out. Otherwise, it won't print in the magazine. Happy to offer the photographer credit of course.
If you have a shot that might work, can you please pm me or e-mail it to me directly at rob.mark@bonniercorp.com.
Much appreciated.
Rob

Re: 120/140 Photo?
Rob I'll take some photos of my panel and send to you. Not sure if it is the most original but it may be close. Meanwhile I sent you a PM.

Re: 120/140 Photo?
Rob, Welcome to the 120 140 Assoc. we have plenty of "Close to original" panels out there a low time restored 120 in Mich and a 140 Oshkosh show winner in 2016 from NY please contact me if I can assist in getting you those photos. Lorraine Morris from Poplar Grove is currently restoring the first 140A model her and husband Ken are 120 140 experts and are long time members with many restorations of these planes under there belt. I'm very excited to hear exposing these airplanes to the upcoming market of pilots. This was my first airplane and the one I got my PPL in on the date of 2006 so I'm a new pilot too as compared to some. I'ts a great beginner and my mentor was passionate about training a tail wheel and towered airports he said I could fly anywhere that way. He was right 50,000 flying miles to date tracked by GPS and all over the country with the longest trip Chicago to Tucson 3000 miles and 30hrs of flying my wife and I have all those memories in the 140! So if you need anything please contact us or PM me cause I stop working the day job to talk to fellow aviators. Jeff

Re: 120/140 Photo?
Thanks to everyone who sent along some 120/140 cockpit shots. I think we're good for now with what we have.
Again, thanks to all who sent along their shots. I have no idea yet which ones will use but I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Those are all so modern! No photos from a '46, or a 120?
